D-pad Reference

The D-pad / Direction module has one read order: active LED colour first, centre value second, manual row third, direction last. The direction itself stays in the in-game manual.

Read order

  1. Call the active LED colour first.

  2. Call the centre value: a number, or a braille value read by Blind Monkey.

  3. Mute finds the manual row for that pair.

  4. Mute signs the direction; directions use Blind Monkey's left and right.

  5. Blind presses once, then re-check the module state.

Warnings

Only Blind Monkey reads braille. Other roles wait for the tactile report.

After a wrong input the LED or value can change — read it fresh.
