BOMBANANA Gesture Sheet
A printable signal vocabulary for the whole crew. Agree the signs before the timer starts, keep them small enough to read in a hurry, and reset them after every cleared module.
Set these before the timer starts
Signals are crew-level infrastructure. Once the timer is running there is no room to debate whether a nod means yes or a raised palm means wait. Spend the first minute in the lobby on the four core signals, then add numbers and directions.
Keep left and right anchored to Blind Monkey. The crew that mixes two perspective systems loses D-pad and wire instructions to ambiguity.
Must-have signals (first 60 seconds)
Wait
Open palm raised. Every input pauses while the manual holder finds the right row.
Yes
Single nod or thumbs-up. The decision is correct and the crew may proceed.
Wrong
Head shake or crossed arms. Stop immediately; the current path is not the manual answer.
Full stop
Both hands up. Cease all inputs after any mistake or reset and re-read the module.
Repeat
Circular hand motion. Say the last callout again, word for word.
Go back
Point backward. Revisit the previous switch before Enter.
Core vocabulary
Print this table and keep it next to the manual holder for the first few sessions.
| Signal | Meaning | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Wait | Open palm raised | Stop inputs while the manual holder looks up the row. |
| Yes | Single nod or thumbs-up | Correct, proceed. |
| Wrong | Head shake or crossed arms | Wrong path, stop immediately. |
| Full stop | Both hands up | Cease all inputs; used after any mistake or reset. |
| Repeat | Circular hand motion | Say the last callout again. |
| Go back | Point backward | Revisit the previous switch before Enter. |
| Cut | Scissor fingers | Cut the confirmed wire. |
| Press | Index finger pushing | Press the confirmed key. |
| Enter | Team-defined two-hand sign | Submit the switch panel only after full confirmation. |
| Digits 0-9 | Team-defined one-hand signs for 0-5 and agreed signs for 6-9 | Numbers travel through Mute's gestures, so 6-9 need explicit pre-game agreement. |
| Directions | Numpad map: 8 = up, 2 = down, 4 = left, 6 = right | Directions use Blind Monkey's left and right and must never be guessed mid-run. |
Pro habits
- Point to the manual page before miming complex digits.
- Signal one answer at a time.
- Reset gestures after each cleared module.
- Mute should bind the interact/emote key before the lobby starts.

The print view removes navigation and footers, uses black ink on white paper, and keeps the cards compact for A4.

FAQ
Do we have to use these exact gestures?
No. Use any signs the crew can read quickly, but agree them before the timer starts and use one sign per meaning.
Why is a full-stop signal separate from wrong?
Wrong stops one path; full stop halts every input and triggers a fresh module read after a mistake or reset.
When should we add numbers and directions?
After the core signals feel automatic. Numbers and directions matter most when the D-pad or Numpad / Math module appears.
